In the course of marking this year’s Easter weekend, the Honourable Member representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency of Benue State, Hon. Samuel Odagboyi Godday was at Obagaji, Headquarters of Agatu Local Government Area to felicitate with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
The Reps Member represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Mr. Ben Ekah, expressed profound gratitude to the Christian body for their resilience and committment towards the propagation of the Gospel accross the constituency and taking up the task of fervently praying for the survival and continuous progress of the land while charging Christian faithfuls not to relent in engaging the heavens on pertinent matters regarding Apa/Agatu especially in the area of insecurity.
He appreciated God for His unending love and benevolence bestowed on the land of Apa/Agatu, preserving the people thus far despite the current challenges facing the constituency.
Delivering his Easter message, Mr. Ben presented the sum of one million naira only on behalf of his Boss to support the association.
Reacting on behalf of the association, the CAN Chairman, Agatu Local Government Area, Pastor Umaru Yakubu thanked the Honourable Member for the show of love and support towards the association and the entire Christian family in the constituency.
Pastor Yakubu further re-echoed the unprecedented achievements recorded by the Reps Member across the constituency in less than two years of his administration, he prayed for God’s protection and wisdom upon the Honourable Member to continue the good work.
