HRH Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, the Sarki overall of Alimosho local government Lagos, has while addressing select representatives of the Arewa communities across Alimosho local government, re-echoed his belief that our oneness and unity as a people and Nigerians, remain the panacea to a stronger nation even as he admits the current upheavals plagueing citizens resolve to soldier on.
Stressing the abiding strength in our diversity, the royal father, averred that, our diversity represents a wild card for unrivalled development in the comity of nations, only if we fight off the myriads of bickering threatening our dream and great destiny as Nigeria.
Continuing, Sarki overall, who is the chairman of the chieftaincy council of Arewa community Alimosho local government, noted that, current happenings in the country that are strung around security, inter ethnic cohabitation and the likes are regrettable but definitely a passing phase.
Nigerians must not loose hope and should also not fall prey to the antics of peace and unity robbers who undoubtedly are cashing in on the gaps in the current situation in the country to promote and stoke hate, disunity and lawlessness for their parochial gains, he thundered.
The government deserve to do more in terms of vigilance, welfarism, even as he implored citizens to rally round the leaderships in the resolve to steady our ship for the general good of Nigerians as against the wishes and machinations of unpatriotic persons
