The hardworking member representing Apa in the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon Abuh Umoru, who lamented the deplorable bridge sometime ago, swung into action to construct a befitting bridge and make the road motorable.
The bridge which was earlier made of delicate woods and planks was rather a death trap. Hence, Hon Abuh Umoru saw the need to construct the bridge to avoid unpalatable news.
The bridge which awaits commissioning anytime soon, connects Imana, Ochichi Oweko, and other communities in Igoro ward.
The chairman, house committee on trade and investments, noted this bridge linking numerous neighboring communities will enhance the ease of doing business, as traders in the communities would ply the road with vehicles conveying goods.
Constructing bridges and providing electricities are core in his developmental agenda, and more education-centred developments are underway.
